With our last EP we were on a journey to discover something new. This time around with ‘Ignition’ we’re staying a little closer to home but are bringing you all the power nonetheless. Kicking it off with ‘Pump Up’ by Crossnaders. For this track we decided to dial things down just a little. However what the Crossnaders lack in ferocity they make up for in groove and a heavy bass! Next up we have Melo.Kids X EMDI teaming up. When the drop finally arrives it hits like a typhoon. Powerful kick, fast paced stabs and an ever so present bassline, this track really brings the ‘House Down’. 3rd up we have a mysterious melody and a powerful voice, this festival bop ‘Slam’ by Chester Young & Jade City is the perfect segue between the constantly rising energy of the Ignition EP. If you were still waiting for that one song to really set you ablaze it has finally arrived. Jordan Oliver’s ‘Up & Down’ combines a powerful drop with a minimalistic melody that all you will need when you are out partying. We also have ‘Reborn’ by FIRST. Starting off with soft chords and a warm feeling, the latent power of the drop is quickly made apparent as the build up begins and falls into a powerful STMPD type drop. Finally with the last track on the Ignition EP we made sure it would go out with a bang. Combining the sounds of the lowkey energy of ‘Pump Up’ and the STMPD styled sounds of ‘Reborn’ we have ‘Dance Now’ by JUDICI, X-Uberant & Outlow. This track is the perfect spark to ignite the listeners interest in this EP.
